Dear Colleagues,
The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), in cooperation with the Middle East Technical University – Robot Technologies and Intelligent Systems Center (ODTÜ-ROMER), is pleased to announce the organization of the “Robotic Applications Training Program 2026”.
As part of TİKA’s efforts to ensure the effective utilization and sustainability of the Cezeri Lab and Cezeri Studio laboratories established in partner countries, a number of complementary educational activities and technology competitions are organized annually under the umbrella of CezeriFest. These activities aim to strengthen technical capacities, promote innovation, and encourage collaboration among students and academic institutions.
In this context, the Robotic Applications Training Program, which was successfully implemented in 2025 with the participation of 12 university students from 7 different countries, will also be organized in 2026 in cooperation with ODTÜ-ROMER.
For the 2026 edition of the program, 15 undergraduate international students will be selected to participate. Students applying through the “I am applying from Cezeri Labs” category will be evaluated by ODTÜ-ROMER. Those selected under this category will be invited to Türkiye, and their international travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by TİKA.
Applications will be accepted between 2 March and 25 April 2026, and the results will be announced on 10 May 2026. The training program is planned to take place between 29 July and 28 August 2026. The language of instruction will be English, therefore applicants are required to have a good command of English and be enrolled in relevant academic programs as indicated in the attached announcement.
In this regard, we kindly request your university’s support in disseminating this opportunity among eligible students. We would appreciate it if the announcement could be shared with relevant departments and students, particularly those who are actively involved in activities within the Cezeri Lab / Cezeri Studio laboratories.
For wider visibility, we also kindly encourage the printing and display of the attached poster in visible locations within your institution, including the Cezeri Lab / Cezeri Studio facilities.
We believe that this program will contribute significantly to the development of students’ technical competencies and strengthen international academic cooperation in the field of robotics and innovative technologies.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation and support. Should you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
